About Jeremy Mizell

Web Application Security Engineer
Skills:
Golang, Python, Machine Learning, Agile, Bash Scripting, Git, Terraform, Linux, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes

I am a backend engineer, with a diverse technical background. I'm passionate about authoring services in Python and Golang, and often a vocal advocate for advancing automated testing in production services. Being a driver of machine learning adoption on my team is something that's a great source of excitement for me.

I've managed large multi-terabyte Elasticsearch clusters, as well as created an access control proxy, to meet security and PCI requirements around log search for the organization.

I'm currently an individual contributor for a next-generation cloud-based web application firewall written in Go. I build Tensorflow based threat detection models and contribute to core WAF engine features, such as the policy, and detection engine.
